Omakase お任せ is a Japanese term meaning “I’ll leave it up to you”.
It has been commonly used to describe a style of “menu” in Japanese restaurants. Omakase is a form of Japanese dining in which guests leave themselves in the hands of a chef and receive a meal that is seasonal, elegant, artistic and uses the finest ingredients available. Do tell the chef of any allergies and dietary restrictions.
Do buy the chef a shot of sake, only alcoholics drink alone. Do not forget to drink sake in-between each dish as sake cleans the palette. Enjoy the element of surprise!

★★★★★James DA HK institution, this is a must try Japanese restaurant for all tourists and locals alike. A great setting with all the sashimi prepared right in front of you – I’ve been coming here for years, and will be coming for years more!
★★★★★Susan CornerWonderful meal and service. We chose the Omakase menu, which saved any decision-making, and loved every single item we were served. The spicy toro tartar was my favourite. Highly recommend this restaurant!
★★★★★DSBExcellent food and fantastic service! We had the rock shrimp salad, the soft shell crab plate, and the Deluxe Lunch Set; all were fresh and delicious, and came in big portions!
★★★★★Vicki EastonBy far the best Japanese brunch in Hong Kong. Quality of food is fantastic and the price is exceptional for the level of food and alcohol you get. Book, you will not be disappointed!
